The Indian Subcontinent is a massive place full of amazing people.  India has a long history of making beautiful hand made things, being a craftsman in India is a well respected occupation.  In fact, traditionally, different castes worked in different occupations,so you find generations of the same family working in the same profession, indeed you find villages of just say potters or carvers or metal workers.

In India there is a wonderful energy, everybody has to make a living and everyone is  entrepreneurial.

Being such a large place we concentrate on certain areas where we set up local hubs, this entails setting up a network of interdependent craftspeople and small scale producers who work together to make our products.  We have a local agent who co-ordinates our producers and a shipper whose job it is to complete all the neccesary paperwork and ship the goods onto us.  Our main hub in India is currently in Rajasthan, an area well known for it's wonderful bright handwoven fabric and handmade crafts.

We love all the bright colours, exotic fabrics, wonderful scents and sheer individuality of India, here is a showcase of some of our favourite products, but of course there are far too many to list them all.
