Our traditional Afghan Slipper Socks are hand knitted by women who have been widowed in the various conflicts that have plagued Afghanistan for the last 50 years.

Buying our slipper socks really helps them earn an income and rebuild their lives.  Things have changed quite a bit under the Taliban and many of the women who make our slipper socks have been internally displaced, which makes producing our Afghan Slipper Socks quite a challenge.  So we would advise getting them while we have them in stock.

Our Slipper Socks are the perfect winter alternative to cold feet! They are very versatile, as they have a sole on them which is soft but handwearing on carpets and solid floors. This means that they can be worn around the house as slippers or in your wellies as socks! 

This year you get the choice of a traditional leather sole or a fully vegan slipper sock.  The vegan alternative comes with a synthetic vegan sole which is soft but handwearing on carpets and solid floors, and a sock that is knitted from a lovely soft acrylic yarn, that is hypoallergenic, not itchy and non scratchy! 

Our Slipper Socks come in four sizes from  small to extra large, A small size is around UK size 2- 4, medium UK size 5 - 7, large UK size 8 - 10, XL UK size 11+. 

As they are handmade patterns and colour do vary! If you have a preference for colours please choose from bright Colours or Subdued colours or send us an email with your preferences.  We will send you the best match from our stock.
